What is GiftLedger?

GiftLedger is an offline-first iOS app for tracking gift exchanges (e.g. for events like Spring Festival and weddings). You can manage projects, contacts, and gift records with optional photos and multi-currency support.

Is my data sent to the internet?

No. GiftLedger works entirely offline. Your projects, contacts, records, and attachments are stored only on your device.

How do I backup my data?

Use the in-app Backup feature to export a single JSON file (including attachments). Restore from that file when needed. Keep your backup file in a safe place (e.g. iCloud Drive or your computer).

I forgot my app lock passcode.

App lock is stored locally on your device. If you forget the passcode, you will need to reinstall the app. Restore your data from a backup made before setting the lock. We cannot recover or reset your passcode.
