ClassLedger ("the App") is designed as a private-first class ledger for families. This policy explains what data the App handles and how it is used.

2. Data the App Handles

The App may process information you choose to enter or attach, including:

• Child profile details such as name, birthday, school, and avatar.
• Course details such as course name, teacher, category, location, schedule, notes, package size, duration, price, and currency.
• Session details such as status, actual time, duration, notes, makeup or reschedule information, and attached photos.
• Calendar event identifiers and local reminder scheduling metadata when you enable those features.

3. Storage and Processing

• Local first: ClassLedger is designed to store your class records locally on your device.
• No account required: You do not need to register or sign in for core app use.
• No advertising tracking: The App does not include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

4. Permissions

• Calendar: Used only when you choose to add or sync class sessions with Apple Calendar.
• Notifications: Used only for local class reminders that you enable.
• Photo Library: Used only when you choose to attach photos to child, course, or session records.

You can control these permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

5. Children's Data

ClassLedger is intended for parents or guardians to manage children's class records. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to enter and manage the information they provide.

6. Data Retention

Data remains on your device until you delete it in the App or remove the App. If your device backup includes app data, that backup is handled according to your Apple and device settings.

7. Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted with a new effective date.
